5-in-1 Multifunction Hand Crank Generator

My husband travels 1,000 miles per week and wanted a hand-crank generator in case of emergencies. After researching many generators, he chose the Dr. Acher generator as his Father’s Day present. He is very pleased with it and we are happy with our purchase.

This works great and it's actually metal! My favorite feature is the lighter that works incredibly quick. Love the fact it doesn't need solar. You just crank it and all features work well. It's small and convenient.

Product was everything I expected.

When it came, looked a little like a toy...but once I started to fiddle with all the functions, it had me amazed! Everything works like a champ! I'm really impressed with the radio function...get it if you can, you won't be sorry!

Performs as advertised. Small and light weight, it is a great addition to a day camping bag.

Very little stands between my awarding this four stars and five.
The difference being additions to it I would have liked to see included.
But first, the 'as is'.
Delivery took longer than expected, and I almost thought it was never coming.
Providing email updates and/or a Tracking Number would have helped greatly.
Upon unpacking, I was pleased with the unit. Sturdy, well constructed, and a nice heft.
The 'steampunk' look suits it very well.
Before charging (via USB) you have to push on 3 tiny pin covers into an equally tiny port, or the unit won't power on.
I feel the unit should have shipped with these already in place; as the covers are sooo small they could easily get dropped and lost.
Functions: They all work very well... FM, Shortwave channels 1&2 radio, multi-settings flashlight, fire igniter, and a hand crank charger.
The Type C input allows for charging up the unit at home, and it includes a connection to connect and charge your cellphone via the crank.
My additions wish list would include a telescoping antenna for better Shortwave reception; and inclusion of a NOAA band.
Those items aside, it's a very good unit for wililderness outings and emergencies.

It performs as described. The assembly could be improved, as aligning the screws might prevent trembling when placed over a straight surface.

This thing is HEAVY in a good way. Feels like military grade equipment. The hand crank offers good resistance and charges my phone steadily. No plastic junk here.
